We finally decided to start cleaning up area book and while doing so, we found nonmembers who are interested and also less actives that not even the branch members know. We decided to start working more with the members and less active members. We visit one man often and the missionaries who taught and baptized him did not do a good job. This man knows little to nothing about the Gospel of this church, he shouldn't have been baptized without a better understanding. Anyway, the visits have been going well and we've had a busy week. Every monday we do service at a members shop and then we go to her son's home for lunch. In italy the main meal of the day is lunch. This lady who makes us lunch is American from the US who served her mission here and apparently didnt lock her heart. She's weird, the kind of weird that only homeschooling can make someone. Later Monday night we were supposed to meet with an investigator, but she bailed on us. She's been an investigator for over 10 years, so that begs the question, is she really an investigator? No, she isnt, but we still have her as an investigator because a certain missionary let's optimism eclipse accuracy about %110 of the time. Thursday I got a new mission President and he's great, we'll see how much the mission changes with him here. I think he's what this mission needs because of his ideas. We're going from a numbers mission to persons mission and it's gonna be great. Saturday we get transfer calls and my companion is most likely leaving, darn... as I've been blunt about it, I love my companion so much, he's taught me a lot, and because of him, I know what kind of missionary I want to be throughout my mission. This transfer just cant end soon enough. Next week will be exciting.
